Bounti Balms was born from a simple belief: that the most powerful healing ingredients come from the earth, not a laboratory.

My journey began at a crossroads. After being made redundant, I found myself with a choice. I could see it as an ending, or I could embrace it as a beginning; a chance to build something that honored both tradition and the incredible natural abundance of Aotearoa.

I have always suffered from dry chapped lips and over many years have never found a real solution.  I decided to make my own remedy after giving up on multiple brands that over promised and under delivered.  During my research, I discovered many facts I had never known before and on occasion I was shocked at what I'd discovered.

In our rush toward cheap mass brand synthetic solutions, we’ve often overlooked the gifts right in front of us: native Kawakawa, Mānuka, and the deeply nourishing fats our ancestors relied on. I began experimenting in my kitchen here in Hawke’s Bay, blending and refining until I found the perfect harmony of nature and performance.

The result is Bounti Balms: Luxury healing that works with your lips' skin, not against it.

The Bounti Philosophy

I believe lip-care should be simple, honest, and generous. To me, luxury isn't about expensive marketing; it’s about the quality of the harvest and the care in the craft.

  • Plastic-Free & Generous: We’ve swapped plastic tubes for 100% compostable cardboard. Plus, our balms are 12g nearly three times the size of standard plastic sticks because nature’s bounty should last.

Golden Jojoba & Castor Oil Our "secret weapon" for texture. Jojoba mimics your skin's natural oils for deep absorption, while Castor oil provides a protective, healthy glow without the stickiness of petroleum.

Ethical NZ Beeswax Nature’s perfect barrier. Our local beeswax creates a breathable shield against the Hawke’s Bay sun and wind, keeping the goodness in and the elements out.
